Skips can either be placed on your property or on the road, however a permit will need to be obtained from the relevant Council prior to delivering the skip.
Obtaining the permit is done by us on your behalf and permits vary from Council to Council. Do let our office know when booking a skip of your intention to have it placed on the road. If however, you need it placed on your drive or garden it does not require a permit.
We most certainly can deliver same day or if not the skip will be delivered the next day. There are a few factors however, like if you require a permit which the council may require a few days notice.
You do not have to be present for delivery of your skip, unless we cannot gain access to place the skip on your property. However, if you need it placed in a specific area we would advice you to relay that information while booking your skip.
Prior to booking your skip do let our team know if there are any obstructions, however we do have a lorry with extra reach so that might not be a problem.
We cannot guarantee, however our drivers have been delivering skips for some time and take caution whenever placing a skip on any property. Our advice is to place plyboards down on your driveway if you have any doubts.
Generally you can keep the skip for a week to 3 weeks however, if you require a permit, it would depend on how if you would like to renew the permits when it runs out which could last for up to 7 days.
Yes you can put mixed materials in our skips.
Majority of waste can be recycled and that is why we aim to recycle at least 88% of your waste.
When you are done with the skip give our office a call to arrange collection, which we do during business hours. Maximum collection time is 3 working days but we usually get it done in 1-2 days.
